We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our global database team! As a Senior SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. A professional database administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.


  • Manage SQL Server databases 
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Monitor system's health and performance
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
  • Ensure data integrity of databases
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Ticket queue management through ticketing system
  • Provide suggestions for solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Additional Responsibilities/Details:  

  • Maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) including processes
  • Experience with version control (ie: Github)


Minimum Education Requirements:  

  • 4 years’ degree

Minimum Experience Requirements: 

  • 5-8 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
  • 4+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • 4+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models

Other Requirements:   

  • RIght to work in the UK
  • MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
