LOD is on a major growth curve as we expand our client base, our geographies, and the scope of our services. We’re looking to maintain this positive momentum by recruiting additional team members for our New Business team, which is responsible for winning new LOD client relationships.

We are looking for business development specialists to work with us to identify and develop new business leads and client relationships. You will work closely with the existing Client Solutions and People & Development teams based in Singapore.

You will be skilled at generating new sales leads and fostering relationships with client representatives, such as General Counsels and Heads of Legal. You will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and development of new clients and sales leads via proactive introductions
  • Working closely with clients to problem solve their needs and design bespoke service solutions
  • Working with LOD’s marketing team to design and deliver:
    • compelling business development and client engagement campaigns
    • client initiatives and networking events (e.g., discussion forums)
  • Assisting the People & Development teams to manage our professional consultants
  • Designing creative approaches to client opportunities and tenders
  • Working with global colleagues on cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintaining Client Relationship Management system.

Qualifications

Qualifications in a relevant business discipline :

  • 5-10 years experience working in a new business sales role, preferably in a people centric business, such as legal recruitment or other professional recruitment services
  • Enjoy working with sales data and communicating sector progress at management level
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office applications
  • Strong familiarity with LinkedIn and customer relationship management tools & platforms
