Overview

The Data Analytics Manager role is responsible for high level management and delegation of day-to-day e-discovery project tasks, reporting to the Director. Additionally, the role is tasked with developing strategic initiatives critical to the ongoing development and improvement of the Data Analytics Department.  The Manager is also responsible for the assignment and tracking of ongoing client projects, internal strategic initiatives, and metrics/revenue tracking in conjunction with the DA leadership team.  Finally, the Manager is tasked with employee development within the Department.

Essential Responsibilities:   

 

Management of Projects

  • Maintain the project assignment tracker, which records project assignment, applicable workflow, and related metrics
  • Communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
  • Plan and manage internal and external project communications (with client and internal team), ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
  • Track and manage monthly project billing entry
  • Generate and distribute pre-determined reporting metrics and KPI's on a regular basis

Team Leadership

  • Collaborate with colleagues and act as an internal leader with respect to junior team members
  • Successfully manage team members with varying skill levels and individual requirements
  • Perform escalation traffic control to ensure issues are addressed promptly; internally manage client facing issues, and escalate to leadership, if necessary
  • In partnership and collaboration with leadership, manage team utilization, onboarding, training needs and serving as a primary point of escalation related items
  • Provide performance review metrics to leadership and support as they provide feedback to assigned reports

Subject Matter Expert

  • Use Data Analytics resources and knowledge to document and deliver internal education and process improvement initiatives
  • Be considered internally as the expert on broad initiatives related to Data Analytics execution

Sales Support

  • Be able to speak competently to Consilio's Data Analytics service offerings
  • Research historical examples of services provided, project metrics, and other supporting information
  • Use research to provide to support client quarterly business reviews and new engagement objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Litigation support / legal industry experience
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in management-related roles
  • Willingness to travel domestically
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects/initiatives/objectives involving cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needs
  • The ability to confront unexpected problems quickly and effectively
  • Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills
