Overview

The Data Operations Director will be responsible for building, managing and developing the Data Operations team.  This role will continue to help Develop Data Operations as a center of excellence within Consilio global delivery paradigms and develop and maintain best practices for a global, high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Build world-class delivery teams: Attract, retain, and grow the team by hiring the best people in the most relevant roles
  • Empower Operations managers to lead and manage delivery activity on the floor
  • Build rapport with counterparts and executive leadership, understand client & project needs, and maintain high levels of (internal) client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project management leadership and key clients. Strategically consult with clients on key decisions around data processing & hosting costs and risks
  • Execute Pilot projects, play hands-on role in new client acquisition
  • Develop new data based services streams and plug revenue leakages
  • Foster long-term partnership with PM, IT, Review and Revenue Directors
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top consulting talent and maintain a balanced team structure.
  • Deliver and support multi-product and multi-client critical 24x7 software operations services
  • Develop India Operations as a center of excellence within Consilio global delivery paradigms
  • Lead team planning and budgeting exercises
  • Develop Data Ops success stories and narratives at global Consilio forum
  • Play a pivotal role in team performance management
  • Develop best practices and drive an effective work-ethos among geographically dispersed teams across Asia-Pacific
  • Cultivate a strong belief in the success of data operations team and be willing to provide constructive feedback and take corrective action when required
  • Inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal
  • Mentor data operations managers. Develop succession planning pipeline for data Operations leadership
  • Develop, monitor, and improve upon Operations management metrics
  • Connect with internal counterparts in client services division on work breakdown structure, information sharing and quality management
  • Contribute to ongoing evolution of data processing and hosting services within the organization and beyond
  • Collaborate with IT and product management to roll out operations workflow on new product launches and major enhancements
  • Liaise with Strategic client services group on designing custom workflows for top clients
  • Participate in regular policy and procedure review meetings with client services leadership

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.)
  • Post-graduation in Operations Management would be preferred
  • 18+ years of related E-Discovery experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals
  • Industry Certifications like PMP/Prince2, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Principal, ITIL Intermediate & above etc.
  • Experience in managing large (80+ resources) delivery teams in a fast-paced software services 24x7 environment
  • Competent with business analytics
  • Ownership Mindset – Own processes, manage delivery escalations and empathize with client requirements
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – Relentless focus on quality and process reviews along with a positive outlook in face of challenges
  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of managing senior management delivery expectations
