Site Reliability Engineer/ DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure + Low Code Applications)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to join our team in building and managing the cloud infrastructure for an auto insurance product being developed. This engineer will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud architecture and low code applications, focusing on deploying the product efficiently while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), infrastructure as code (IaC), and container orchestration, alongside experience in low code tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to build and deploy automated pipelines, ensuring continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices are established and followed.

Infrastructure Design & Management:
Build and manage the cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) required for the auto insurance product, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.

Cloud Architecture & Deployment:
Work on cloud architecture requirements and design a robust solution for deployment and monitoring of product features on Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Collaboration with Development Teams:
Collaborate closely with the development teams to create and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for smooth application deployments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Utilize Terraform to automate and manage infrastructure deployment, provisioning, and scaling in the cloud environment.

Automation & Scripting:
Write and maintain scripts for automation tasks, server provisioning, and monitoring solutions.

Cloud Security & Compliance:
Ensure security best practices are followed for cloud resources and help enforce governance models within the infrastructure.

Monitoring & Incident Management:
Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and stability; respond to incidents and perform post-mortem analyses to improve system reliability.

Continuous Improvement:
Constantly look for opportunities to optimize the infrastructure, deployment processes, and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual overhead.

• Experience:
• 3-5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in a similar role focused on cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS.
• Proven track record in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization tools (Docker, Helm, etc.).

• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.).
• Expertise in cloud security, access controls, and compliance for cloud deployments.
• Experience with regular SDLC and Sprint cycle
• Experience with Jira, confluence, Azure DevOps etc.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development, legal, and other cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on proactive automation and process improvements.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of quality and reliability in deployment processes.
