Overview

The Data Operations Associate Director will be responsible for building, managing and developing the Data Operations team.  This role will continue to help Develop Data Operations as a center of excellence within Consilio global delivery paradigms and develop and maintain best practices for a global, high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Build a specialized delivery team to scale: Hire and grow the team by hiring the appropriate talent inn.
  • Take cognizance, and offer course correction when required, of Team managers’ delivery activity on the floor.
  • Assist Data Operations Director in areas of policy compliance, strategic initiatives, delivery excellence and team culture.
  • Get on client consulting calls with Project Managers and Sales to address concerns and explore newer workflows for data processing & hosting tasks.
  • Lead Pilot projects’ coordination and tracking.
  • Cultivate relationships with Project Management Portfolio Directors and IT managers.
  • Conduct final rounds of interviews for associates and seniors.
  • Build succession planning into team personnel & Operations.
  • Develop India Data Ops team’s capabilities following global Data Ops protocols and paradigms.
  • Own the team performance management – balancing individual growth against business needs.
  • Manage team performance metrics like Quality, Productivity, Availability, Responsiveness etc.
  • Interface with IT and development for UAT and roll out of third-party tools and products.
  • Escalation Management – Take immediate corrective actions at a team level and collaborate with stakeholders for preventive measures.
  • Process Optimization – beyond developing internal benchmarks for response time and turnaround time for data Operations requests inculcate a continuous improvement mindset among team managers and leads.
  • Define managerial goals and conduct performance reviews for managers.
  • Reporting – Design and roll-out operational reports for the team.
  • Build sustainable narratives with India and global leadership on team capabilities including innovation, problem solving and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.)
  • Post-graduation in Operations Management would be preferred.
  • 13+ years of related E-Discovery experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
  • Industry Certifications like PMP/Prince2, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Principal, ITIL Intermediate & above etc.
  • Experience in managing large (40+ resources) delivery teams in a fast-paced software services 24x7 environment.
  • Competent with business analytics.
  • Ownership Mindset – Own processes, manage delivery escalations and empathize with client requirements
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – Relentless focus on quality and process reviews along with a positive outlook in face of challenges.
  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of managing senior management delivery expectations.
