Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the GL reporting & Statutory Audit for our Group companies as per relevant local GAAP / IFRS, including maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires adherence to tight deadlines and involves a variety of accounting activities including general ledger accounting, financial analysis and reporting, internal and external audit preparation and coordination for a specific region.

Responsibilities

  • Support in monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information.
  • Record and reconcile monthly critical accounts.
  • Reviews complex reconciliations, roll-forwards, cash flow statements and analyses, compliant with USGAAP & Local GAAP / IFRS and internal controls.
  • Perform Month end reconciliations for the group entites
  • Collaborating with functions to ensure timely month end close
  • Responsible to ensure all business policies/ procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/ external regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles
  • Effectively communicates across levels and functions of the organization;
  • Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues;

Qualifications

 

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 4 years related accounting experience;
  • Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred.
  • Experience working in global environment.
  • Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across the globe.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with oversight from Manager / Director. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency.
  • High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated and results focused.
