The Sr. Associate, Human Resources provides support across the full employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted partner to our leaders and employees in Australia. This role combines hands-on operational HR delivery and provides support to the payroll team ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the HR team, provide consultative, day-to-day support for a team of functional leaders and employees in our organization.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding process for the region.
  • Manage employee records and data integrity.
  • Effective communication with leaders and employees on new practices, updates and changes.
  • Analyze & innovate current HR programs, processes, procedures, policy, guidelines, and structure to allow for future stability and growth of the Company
  • Provide excellent customer service, demonstrate timely follow-up and a sense of urgency.
  • Provide guidance on how to provide constructive feedback, write effective disciplinary actions, and provide clearly written objectives and performance evaluations.
  • Provide first-line advice to managers and employees on workplace policies, performance, and employee relation issues. Utilize company documentation guidelines and escalate issues to HR leadership when required or appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations as well as other legal requirements around people management to help leaders maintain compliance in the region.
  • Work with employees and payroll team to ensure timekeeping data is timely and accurate.
  • Other duties and special projects as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • 3 years of related experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, for a high growth, global team.
  • Proven experience coaching employees and leaders through HR related topics.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.
