Overview

The Processing Analyst will perform data intake, extraction, and processing activities necessary to prepare data for attorney review.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the resolution of any software or hardware issues related to the supported applications.
  • Provide support for escalated service requests, including problem identification and resolution.
  • Perform data intake, extraction, and processing activities necessary to prepare data for attorney review.
  • Prepare document productions for delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation necessary to make the assigned systems operational and efficient.
  • Handle digital evidence in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Answer and appropriately handle incoming service requests via e-mail, voicemail, phone, IM, and in person. Escalate problems when appropriate.
  • Conduct quality control evaluations of each process performed.
  • Work effectively as part of a project team.
  • Solve basic, moderate, and complex technical issues, such as database import errors and unknown source data formats.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, 2 years’ work experience preferred.
  • Preferred 3 years’ experience in a litigation support environment working with eDiscovery systems in terabyte-sized matters.
  • Experience with software applications common to the eDiscovery process, such as EnCase, dtSearch, Nuix, Law Pre-discovery, IPRO, Relativity, iCONNECT, and Concordance.
  • Vendor certification for relevant software applications.
  • Well-developed understanding of advanced eDiscovery practices, procedures, and processes (metadata and text extraction, native file to image conversion, OCR processing, and output to document review applications)
  • Proficiency with data management services (loading images to a network, burning CDs/DVDs. Loading data into database applications, conducting database inquiries, and developing reports for project teams.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation) with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff in a clear manner.
  • Customer service oriented, willing to work additional hours as necessary including weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to effectively manage multiple projects in fast paced environment with tight time deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and operating systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintains high quality standards and attention to detail in work product
