Role Overview :

Performs analysis, reporting, and process improvement activities for the GRO deparment. Reviews sales-related metrics associated with such things as the pipeline, opportunity entry, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity, and goal attainment. Performs regular reporting and variance analyses against revenue targets. Expert in metric results, nuances, sources, and limitations. Proactively and timely raises issues and key knowledge to stakeholders. Responsible for handling incentive compensation processing, validation, analysis and distribution of incentive compensation reports and payments for one or more Consilio business units. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations, this person will be accountable for ensuring that incentive compensation calculations are accurate, communicated properly, and completed in a timely manner. Continually evaluates performance of the sales organization to faciltate achievement of organization objectives and strategicly utilizes metrics to tell that story. Effectively drives operational efficiencies through all responsibilities. Enhances existing sales processes and creates new processes as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incentive planning, calculations, and analysis for all sales commission and bonus plans
  •  Review and maintain records of sales and incentive data through various sources.
  • Analyze and assess the accuracy of sales metrics to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales team on resolving commission related issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members of the sales team, operations team, and throughout the organization. These relationships will be managed to ensure active engagement in the commission process.
  • Command superior knowledge of all project related data.
  • Provide accurate periodic records of all incentive data.
  • Maintain and enhance Captivate IQ incentive automation system.
  • Identify opportunities for automation of existing processes. Work with commissions team & sales operations team as a whole to bring these ideas to life.
  • Aid in monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Administering, managing, and reporting on revenue metrics and sales costs
  • Conducting various analyses to gain deeper insights into business
  • Assessing sales and commission trends, AR status, and cost of sales; consolidate into recommendations for the executive team
  • Performing ad hoc analysis for senior management to provide data support for business decisions
  • Evaluating new tools and platforms to improve reporting and sales operations and ensure maximum utilization of existing tools

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in related roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience required.
  • Proficiency in Incentive Compensation software required; experience with CaptivateIQ system preferred.
  • Ability to work well both independently and to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize problems and manage multiple requests/expectations
  • Recognized as a team member who is actively involved in attacking issues, while maintaining an excellent attitude contributing to the overall high morale of the team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to interact with sales reps by providing support via phone, web, and email; as well as team-oriented interaction with all.
  • Requires the ability to work in an area requiring special attention to detail and regular monthly deadlines.
  • Requires ability to handle highly confidential company and employee expense information with appropriate level of professionalism and sensitivity.

Other Requirements:

  • Previous Sales Operations or Finance experience (preferred)
  • Large data analysis and reporting experience (preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (required)
  • Minimal travel may be expected
