Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Low-Code Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain business applications using leading low-code platforms, translating complex operational requirements into practical, scalable solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, and leadership to drive digital transformation and process automation across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop business applications on Quickbase, Power Apps/Power Platform, and Mendix (beneficial) to support operational workflows and data management needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate them into effective low-code solutions.
  • Build, configure, and maintain Quickbase applications including tables, relationships, reports, dashboards, forms, and automations.
  • Develop Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards integrated with Microsoft 365 and other enterprise systems.
  • Integrate low-code applications with external APIs, databases, and third-party SaaS platforms.
  • Document solutions, maintain application governance, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications as business needs evolve.
  • Stay current with platform updates, new features, and low-code best practices across Quickbase, and other low-code platforms.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications on Quickbase, including advanced use of pipelines, formulas, and role-based permissions.
  • Ability to design normalized data models, relational structures, and efficient reporting within low-code environments.
  • Experience integrating low-code platforms with REST APIs, webhooks, or enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quickbase Solution Provider (QSP) certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
  • Microsoft PL-100 or PL-900 certification.
  • Familiarity with traditional development concepts including SQL, JavaScript, or Python for extending low-code platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Background in process improvement, business analysis, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Quickbase (primary): pipelines, automations, connected tables, formulas, role permissions
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse
  • Mendix: Studio Pro, microflows, domain modeling, app deployment
  • Integration: REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, Microsoft 365, SharePoint
  • Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project tools
