Role Overview :

Consilio is seeking a Lead UX Designer to shape the end-to-end product design of the Consilio product suite. As a key member of our Product and Technology team, you will work within a collaborative, fast moving environment to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high quality enterprise experiences.

You will play a critical role in influencing how legal teams at major organizations interact with Consilio’s AI-powered tools for litigation, investigations, legal hold, and cyber incident review. This role goes beyond execution. You will help influence product direction, bring clarity in ambiguous spaces, and elevate the overall experience across our products.

You will partner closely with Product and Engineering, advocate for users, and translate complex business needs into meaningful, usable solutions. You will act as a bridge between business goals and product capability, grounded in both user understanding and technical context.

This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, India, with required overlap with US Eastern Time.

Ownership & Strategy

· Lead UX for critical product areas across Consilio’s platform, including AI driven workflows and enterprise legal solutions

· Own the end to end product design process from concept through delivery and post launch iteration

· Translate evolving product strategy and business goals into user journeys, information architecture, and interaction models

· Simplify complex workflows into intuitive, usable experiences

· Use data, user insights, and product context to inform design decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape solutions early, not just execute on requirements

· Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders at all levels

· Influence decisions through strong storytelling and user advocacy

Research & User Insight

· Lead or partner on user research and synthesize findings into actionable insights

· Identify opportunities based on user behavior, needs, and pain points

· Ensure design decisions are grounded in real user context

Prototyping & Design Delivery

· Create a range of design artifacts, from early wireframes to high fidelity designs, within a scalable system

· Rapidly prototype ideas using Figma Make and modern AI driven tools such as Replit or similar

· Use prototyping not just as a deliverable, but as a tool for exploration, alignment, and decision making

Design Systems & Standards

· Evolve and maintain Consilio’s design system and UX standards

· Apply systems thinking to ensure scalable, consistent experiences

· Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Visual, Industrial Design), HCI, or equivalent practical experience.

· 8+ years of professional UX design experience, with a track record of shipping complex enterprise products.

Core Skills

· Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping

· Experience designing end to end user journeys for complex systems

· Experience designing across multi product ecosystems

· Strong systems thinking and ability to design for scale and consistency

· Proven ability to work cross functionally with Product and Engineering

· Ability to influence decisions without formal authority

· Strong communication and storytelling skills

· Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making thoughtful tradeoffs

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Portfolio

· Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design across multiple web-based enterprise products.

· Work samples that showcase prototyping ability.

Nice to have

· Experience with AI driven products or designing AI powered interactions

· Experience with Replit, Figma Make, or other prompt-based prototyping tools.

· Formal or self-directed learning in AI/ML concepts

· Prior experience designing for legal, compliance, or eDiscovery domains.

Location & Work Arrangement

· Hybrid role based in Bangalore, India (3 days in office)

· Must overlap significantly with US Working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time)

· On camera presence expected for most virtual meeting
