Job Summary: 

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing and defect identification. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and maintain test plans, validate application functionality, and identify issues before release. Your primary focus will be to ensure that products are stable, functional, and meet the required specifications.

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand testing scope.
• Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on project requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing across web applications and data warehouse.
• Identify, document, track, and verify and validate defects using defect management tools such as JIRA or Any bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps etc.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement/Grooming, and retrospectives.
• Leverage AI tools in testing
• Validate API integrations using tools such as Postman or Swagger (where applicable).
• Perform database validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and assisting business users.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, execution reports, and defect summaries.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis of defects and recommend quality improvements.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to the project team.
• Continuously improve testing knowledge by learning AI, new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
• Contribute to test automation by executing automated test scripts or creating basic automation scripts using tools such as Selenium (if applicable).

Additional Responsibilities/Details:  

• Track and report test results, including test case execution and defect status.
• Continuously improve the test processes and increase test coverage.
• Provide input on product design improvements from a QA perspective.
• Document test outcomes and contribute to refining QA processes and best practices.
• Stay updated on new testing tools, trends, and best practices to enhance the QA process.
• Prepare project - related documentation.

• 3-4 years of experience in software testing and data quality.
• Experience in testing Enterprise applications, Integration, and Data warehouse
• Experience in SQL and database testing (ETL Testing).
• Experience in API testing
• Proficiency in any of the scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with bug-tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or others.
• Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge.
• Strong attention to details and ability to identify inconsistencies and issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with enterprise applications, system integrations, and/or data warehouse.

Other Qualifications nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in assisting testing.
• Experience with enterprise applications: Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, Bullhorn, Replicon, Active Directory, and UKG.
• Experience with middleware applications like SnapLogic, MuleSoft, and/or Boomi
• Experience with data warehouse systems and data quality (ETL testing).
• Understanding of relational table design and testing backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
