As part of our selection process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a Business Aptitude Assessment. The assessment is designed to evaluate skills that are important for success within the programme and the Assistant Project Manager role, including:

The Assistant Project Manager role is responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and delivery of eDiscovery projects for clients across the globe.

This position involves managing multiple projects of varying complexity while working closely with clients, attorneys, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders. Successful candidates will develop strong project management capabilities while contributing to the delivery of high-quality client solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

The Role: What You'll Do  -

Project Management & Delivery:

• Provide end-to-end coordination and oversight of multiple eDiscovery matters.
• Serve as a key point of contact for assigned projects and stakeholders.
• Support clients and internal teams with data collections, processing workflows, analytics, and production deliverables.
• Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, dependencies, resource plans, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards across project deliverables.
• Coordinate project communications to ensure effective information sharing and delivery.
• Develop expertise in Consilio's review platforms and proprietary technologies.
• Assist with forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets and timelines.
• Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Generate and distribute reporting metrics, project updates, and key performance indicators.
• Build strong client relationships through a collaborative and consultative approach.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (MBA, LLB, BCom Degree, Prince2, Project Management Diploma or similar qualification)
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
• Strong teamwork, client service, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be based in Cape Town.
