About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions by maximizing Salesforce out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities and strategically leveraging AppExchange solutions and third-party plugins to meet business requirements. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding platform strategy, governance, solution architecture, and enterprise-wide Salesforce adoption.

Own and define the Salesforce architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology and business strategies.

Design scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce OOTB features and capabilities, including Flows, Dynamic Forms, Approval Processes, OmniStudio, Einstein AI, and Platform functionality before considering custom development.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement Salesforce AppExchange applications, managed packages, and third-party plugins to maximize business value while minimizing technical debt.

Lead architecture and design sessions for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and future Salesforce platform initiatives.

Establish enterprise integration patterns and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, middleware solutions, and event-driven architectures.

Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Provide architectural leadership, governance, and mentorship to Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Technical Leads.

Drive platform optimization, security, data architecture, compliance, scalability, and performance best practices.

Review and approve solution designs, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices, architectural standards, and long-term maintainability.

Support release management, environment strategy, and deployment governance in collaboration with DevOps and delivery teams.

Ability to reverse engineer existing platform design and make recommendations to align with SalesForce OOTB best practices and configurations.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including significant experience in solution and platform architecture roles.

Deep expertise across Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Platform.

Proven experience designing and implementing solutions that maximize Salesforce OOTB functionality and reduce unnecessary customization.

Strong experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing AppExchange applications, managed packages, and third-party Salesforce ecosystem solutions.

Expert understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, role hierarchies, permission sets, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Extensive experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, middleware platforms, and integration best practices.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, master data management, large data volumes, and platform performance optimization.

Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) sufficient to guide technical design decisions and development teams.

Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience  in Github, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools such as Gearset.

Salesforce Application Architect and/or Salesforce System Architect certifications required.

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly preferred.

Experience leading enterprise-wide Salesforce transformation initiatives and multi-cloud implementations.

Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and AI-powered Salesforce capabilities.

Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, and technology roadmaps.

Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or similar technologies.

Experience supporting global Salesforce organizations with complex business processes and large user communities.
